Navident: Your Partner in Perfecting Dental Implants
Hello I am Dr. Rahul Shah and people in the community often call me Dr. Navident. My work in dentistry is driven by my love for ideas and my commitment to taking good care of my patients. Today I want to tell you about the difference that Navident technology has made in the world of dental implants.
When I first brought the Navident machine to India in 2017 it was not about introducing a new tool; it was about changing the way we do implantology. The Navident system is known for being precise and efficient. It has set a new standard for placing implants and planning surgery.
When it comes to implants, being precise is very important. The old ways of doing things often involve guessing and making adjustments, which can lead to implants being placed in different ways and affecting the outcome. The Navident system changes this completely. By using imaging technology and navigating in real time Navident makes it possible to place implants with great accuracy and prosthetically.
The system uses Cone Beam Computed Tomography and a sophisticated navigation interface, which allows us to see the placement in three dimensions. This makes the procedure more precise. Reduces the risk of complications. For me, bringing Navident to India was not about introducing new technology, it was about taking a big step towards better results for my patients and more efficient procedures.
One thing I really like about Navident is that it is easy to use. It helps dental professionals plan. Carry out procedures with confidence knowing that they have real-time data and guidance to back them up. This level of precision is crucial for making sure that implants are placed in the position, which is important for how long they last and how well they work.
The Navident system also fits with my belief in putting patients first. It allows for a predictable and streamlined approach, which reduces the time patients spend in the chair and makes their experience better. Being able to visualize and plan the procedure in detail means that we can give our patients the best possible results, tailored to their unique needs.
I recently visited the Claronav office in Canada, where this dynamic navigation technology is developed. This visit was very informative. It gave me a deeper understanding of the technology and the team behind it. Seeing the innovation firsthand made me more excited about bringing these advancements to our practice and reminded me of the big impact that Navident can have.
In 2017, Navident Uno was new. In 2024, my second dynamic navigation machine Navident MM Evo came with even better innovations, sleeker design and photogrammetry. We relocated the first machine to our rural set up in Vagad Welfare Trust hospital, Bhachau, Kutch. This enables a huge rural population to have access to this latest technology.
As I look back on the journey of introducing Navident to India I feel a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the future. The positive feedback from patients and colleagues has been very rewarding. It reaffirms my belief that innovation, combined with a commitment to excellence can really change the field of dentistry. The Navident technology has made a difference and I am happy to be a part of it. The Navident system is a game changer. I am excited to see how it will continue to shape the future of dental implants.
