What Are Dental Implants?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into the jawbone to support a crown, bridge, or fixed replacement teeth. Once healed, the implant functions much like a natural tooth and helps maintain jawbone support over time. Made from titanium, these implants are lightweight, strong, and biocompatible, ensuring your body accepts them safely.
Dental implants are commonly recommended for:
- Missing single teeth
- Multiple missing teeth
- Full mouth rehabilitation
- Loose dentures
- Long-term fixed teeth replacement
Unlike removable options, implants stay securely fixed and are designed to feel more natural while eating and speaking.
How much do dental implants cost in Mumbai?
Dental implant cost in India, especially Mumbai, depends on multiple factors including the number of missing teeth, bone condition, implant system used, and whether additional procedures like bone grafting are required.
Patients searching for affordable dental implants in Mumbai often compare treatment quality, technology, surgeon expertise, and long-term reliability not just pricing alone.
At Sahyog, implant treatment planning is personalised based on:
- Bone quality & jaw support
- Type of implant restoration
- Full mouth or single tooth replacement
- Digital guided surgery requirements
- Healing & loading protocols
For many international and NRI patients, India has become a preferred destination for dental implants because of experienced implant surgeons, digital dental technology, and comparatively lower treatment costs than many Western countries.
At Sahyog, we aim to give you the same smooth experience. To learn more, see our Dental Tourism page.

- Natural Appearance & Stability: Implants match the shade of your natural teeth and stay securely in place.
- No Damage to Adjacent Teeth: Unlike bridges, implants do not require cutting down healthy neighboring teeth.
- Improved Oral Health: Sharing the functional load during chewing helps maintain the health of surrounding teeth.
- Comfort & Convenience: Implants do not slip like removable dentures and require no clasps.
- Long-Term Solution: With proper care, implants can last a lifetime.

Expert Dental Implants & Premium Care in India
We provide digitally planned dental implant solutions for single tooth replacement, multiple missing teeth, and full mouth rehabilitation. From implant placement to bone augmentation procedures, every treatment is tailored for long-term function, stability, and natural-looking results.
Missing one tooth
A single implant is a very common and regular procedure in our practice. When either the tooth and root are damaged or a tooth is about to be lost, the best permanent replacement is a dental implant in conjunction with crown. It both looks and functions just like a natural tooth. A dental implant to replace one missing tooth is the most natural, cost-effective, least-invasive and long-term tooth replacement. This procedure normally includes one to four visits.
Missing several teeth
Having dental implants replace your lost teeth will give you new, unparalleled strength and stability that will allow you to eat what you want. It will also preserve your jawbone and facial appearance.
In the back of the mouth where bite forces are extremely strong, one implant per tooth is ideal. In the front of the mouth, we may recommend an implant bridge as opposed to individual front teeth implant crowns. The main reason for this is cosmetic. In addition, the bite forces are not as much as the back teeth, so fewer implants can be used.
Full mouth Implants
When all teeth are missing or need to be replaced, dental implants are the best permanent solution. Before dental implants, there were no solutions available for people who lost all their teeth besides full dentures. Today, it is possible to replace a full jaw with dental implants and a fixed bridge or implant over-denture that results in a permanent, stable and highly aesthetic solution.
Bone Augmentation
Over a period of time, the jawbone associated with missing teeth atrophies (shrinks) or is resorbed. This sometimes leaves a condition in which there is poor quality and quantity of bone not suitable for the placement of dental implants. In these situations, bone grafting is considered. This not only gives us the opportunity to place implants of proper length and width, it also gives us a chance to restore functionality and aesthetics.
Bone grafting procedures may be performed separately or together with implant placement depending upon your bone status. The procedures that are covered are Direct and Indirect Sinus Lifts, Block grafts, Ridge splits and Bone grafting procedures.
